My Story
On Sunday, 14 May, I'm taking part in this year's Walk the Wight - the Island's largest and most iconic fundraising event.
As an independent charity, Mountbatten relies on donations to fundraise over £10 million every year.
I interviewed the hospice’s chief Nigel Hartley just a few weeks ago and it was the most powerful podcast episode we’ve done to date.
JOIN ME! I’m planning to walk to the second half of the course - so 14 miles from Carisbrooke to Alum Bay - a huge challenge this year for my post-baby self.
But… you can choose your distance and the team will support you every step of the way. We are also planning a couple of optional practice walks of around 4-5 miles on two Sundays in April, with yoga and stretch sessions and refreshments provided by a very exciting brand-new Ryde business...
If you can't join us, please do support the team by giving a donation for Mountbatten
